Cost is $1,600 for painters (based on double occupancy) and $1,200 for non-painters. ($400 discount).
Receipt of deposit of $400 per person is required to hold your reservation for the Tequis workshop.

After August 1, there is a $200 cancellation fee. Additional fees may be imposed if a participant(s) cancels within 30 days of the workshop. There are no refunds for no-shows or cancellations after departure (Trip insurance is recommended). All cancellations must be made in writing. Final payment is due on September 1st, 2022.
Airfare reservations should be made to Aeropuerto Internacional de Querétaro, Mexico. AIRFARE, INSURANCE and TIPS are not included.
We reserve the right to adjust the daily program schedule if necessary.
Travel documents are required and it is the responsibility of the traveler to arrange the appropriate documents such as passports, negative Covid test (if required), vaccinations cards (if required), etc.
In case of government imposed travel restrictions or too few participants, you will receive a full refund. Our liability would be limited to a full refund of the fee paid and will not be responsible for expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled trips such as airline tickets, trip insurance, visa applications or miscellaneous expenses.
If the participant does not receive his/her traveling documents and/or requirements, we will not reimburse any monies to the participant. We reserve the right to decline, accept or retain at any time any person as a participant of a tour or remove any participant from the tour if the participant is deemed disruptive. In this case, if the participant voluntarily chooses to leave the tour, we will not refund any money to the participant. If the participant causes any damages to the properties, it is the sole responsibility of that person to pay for any and all damages.
Please contact your airline provider to verify baggage allowance. This is both a classroom and plein air workshop. All watercolor paints must be placed in checked bags or carry-ons according to liquid allowance protocols by the airlines. We recommend small watercolor tubes to be double bagged in ziplock bags for protection labeled “ARTIST watercolor paints”. Do not bring any solvents on the airplane. A supply list will be provided well in advance of the workshop.
You may bring a small plein air setup and your regular painting supplies: ie. brushes, papers, watercolor blocks, tapes, painting palette, etc.
Any physical limitation or disability requiring special attention must be reported in writing. This workshop and accompanying tours is not suitable for persons with restrictive disabilities. All participants certify not to having health or physical conditions that would create a hazard for him/herself or other participants.
Photographs and video recording is allowed. Any participant that does not wish to be photographed or video recorded must provide this request in writing.
Once you are registered, the workshop host will arrange housing for the participants. Room upgrades and housing arrangements are at the discretion of the workshop host. The private room accommodations are on a ‘first come, first serve basis’. Private rooms will incur a $300 fee upgrade.
RESPONSIBILITY and RELEASE OF LIABILITY
The participant will release the teacher and host, facility and any persons associated with this tour liability for any injury, medical issues, sickness, death, loss, inconvenience, delay, damage to person or property in connection with the services provided in this workshop. This also includes any loss or damage resulting from, but no limited to , acts of war or civil unrest, strikes, insurrection of revolt, criminal or labor activities, terrorism, animal, insect or parasitic infection/diseases and natural disaster.
